If anyone's got an interest in English football get over to the BBC http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/5360700.stm, whole lot of shit just happened regarding bungs/bribes/etc.

just watched it....
and to be honest apart from big fat sam's son looking like big fat sam, and the agents will lie, cheat and steal for a spare £1 i'm not really sure what has been proved.
i honestly think the best way to tell a dodgy deal is..does your team sign a player youve never heard of for £x million, he never plays, then sells him a year later for less.

Agree, but it's the first hard evidence about it, much harder for clubs/FA to say there's nothing wrong. Also Allardyce and possibly Redknapp look like they're in a potential heap of trouble, though I'd be surprised if either got sacked.
